OEM/ODM Cooperation Modes and Requirements

Cooperation Modes

Mode 1
Our existing mature product is utilized and then the customer's brand is printed on

Information Provided by Customer
For this mode of cooperation, the customer should provide the packaging design requirements. The customer can design the packaging and then we can start proofing production directly. Alternatively, our company can be responsible for the packaging design, but the customer is required to provide relevant design materials, such as logo, model number, etc.

If products with software management are involved, the customer needs to provide modifications on the software interface style. Then, we will make changes according to customer requirements.

Operating Procedure
We confirm in detail with the customer about the packaging requirements. After confirmation, we start design. Then, the finished design is sent to the customer for confirmation. If the design is approved by the customer, we will make a sample. Then, the sample is checked. If qualified, we will start procurement and production and apply the packaging to the product.

Regarding software modifications, we will modify the software interface in accordance with the customer requirements and send the software interface screenshots to the customer for confirmation. After confirmation, we will make a formal amendment to form the final version.

Mode 2
Local modifications, like structure, appearance, packaging, etc., are made on our existing mature products and then print the customer's brand on

Information Provided by Customer
For this cooperation mode, the customer should specify the product structure and provide structural element figure, logo file, as well as product packaging methods and requirements.

Operating Procedure
Feasibility assessment will be made on the requirements proposed by the customer. We will communicate with the customer until the modifications are feasible and the produced product can meet the application needs. Then, we can make the modifications.

Mode 3
Customer provides self-developed product information, like product design drawings, BOM, production documents, samples, etc.; we make a sample and send it to the customer for confirmation; after confirmed, print the customer's brand on

Operating Procedure
After we are provided with the above files, our relevant technical staff will firstly read and study them. Then, they will make standardized production files and operating instructions to guide production. Finally, relevant personnel will receive trainings to ensure that they can accurately implement the SOP requirements and thus guarantee correct production.

Mode 4
Customer provides product design intent and detailed design requirements; our company makes technical feasibility assessment on the customer requirements and turn the customer's ideal into product; then, we start production for the customer.

Information Provided by Customer
The customer is required to propose an accurate, detailed product design intent. If necessary, face-to-face communication can be made. The two parties can also conduct regular or irregular process validation in each design link.

Operating Procedure
After informed of the customer's design intent, we will make feasibility assessment by taking our existing resources into consideration. If we are capable of meeting customer needs, the following is to maintain timely communication, so as to ensure smooth production.

Cooperation Requirements
1. Order Quantity
Considering different products, different requirements coupled with raw material purchase and convenience problems, the minimum order quantity is typically 500 pieces. For special low-value products, MOQ is 1000. For the first time cooperation, the order quantity is determined according to the actual situation.

2. Payment Methods
All quotes are based on FOB SHENZHEN.
a. For OEM orders involving direct use of our existing products, the payment term is 45% deposit T/T in advance and balance before shipment.
b. For customized products which are designed by the customers themselves and manufactured by Longway, the prepayment is 60% by T/T and the balance is paid before shipment.
c. For orders directly purchasing our ECOM products, the prepayment is 35% by T/T and the balance is paid before shipment.

3. Delivery Time
The delivery time is calculated from the date we receive the prepayment and is generally 30 days. For forecasted orders, which mean the customers have provided forecast plan in the earlier stage and they have stable demand, the delivery time is 5 days for order quantity less than 2000 pieces. The delivery time increases as the order quantity rises. Specifically, the delivery time is increased by 2 days for each increase of 1000 pieces in the order quantity.

4. Warranty Way
We provide two warranty ways. One is we provide 1% spare parts and the other one is we offer 12-month warranty but the customer should assume the round-trip transportation costs and tariffs. Generally, the first one is recommended.

5. Technical Support
For all products, we offer 5-day 8-hour remote technical support. Support is given via telephone, E-mail or online platform.
